Artist Statement

When I hear the words “statement jewelry”, I think “wearable art”. Something that is unique, one of a kind and often showcases the wearer’s personality. Whether it is bold and colorful or quiet and monochromatic, it says something about YOU.

I have a relentless interest in fashion, an eye for colors and details and a love of having fun creating art with my own hands. I’ve been creating jewelry for about 12 years. Mostly, it’s been for myself and friends.

My designs lean toward organic and geometric shapes, high contrast colors and patterns and textured surfaces. The design process is truly free flowing…I don’t make predesign sketches. I just work with what I see. So, no two items are alike. And, frankly, some of the final results end up as scraps! This freedom is what makes it fun!

Most recently my jewelry designs have been handmade with high quality polymer clay, Myuki seed beads and sterling silver plated findings. All of these materials are light weight and durable.

My work is done in my home studio located in Viera, Florida. I can also work with you if you have a design shape, color or texture in mind that you don’t see in the gallery photos.
